Cars lined the street, with overflow continuing on State Street.
The three-day event continued on the following afternoon at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club at Echo Lake. A choice of lobster or rib-eye steak prepared by Rick and Mike Graves was offered.
Fifty-three classmates attended the supper.
Most were accompanied by their wives, husbands and/or relatives.
After, a ceremony to remember and honor each deceased classmate was performed with a balloon being released, one at a time, as his or her name was read.
It was a very touching presentation indeed.
Many gathered Sunday morning at the Northeastland Hotel for a reunion breakfast. A 55th class reunion is being contemplated for 2015.
