Work day, meeting date changed

Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club
    Due to the Labor Day weekend, the monthly meeting of the Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club (HRPC) normally held the first Sunday of the month, will instead by held on Sept. 11 at the HRPC range, located adjacent to Houlton International Airport.
    The meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., with recreational shooting to follow. All members are encouraged to attend.
    Also on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 27 and 28, members of the HRPC will install a new roof on the clubhouse. Members interested in participating should meet at the clubhouse at 10 a.m. on those days. If possible, bring a hammer and cordless screwdriver.
