Make the escape to Oasis Salon

O-a-sis – a noun defined as something serving as a refuge, relief or pleasant change from what is usual, annoying, difficult, etc.

This could be the mission statement of Oasis Salon. Conveniently located on Main Street in downtown Presque Isle, right near the Braden Theatre, Northeastland Hotel and Café Sorpreso, owner Jean Brawn and stylists Susan Ennis and Jessica Landry make it their goal to give you a unique salon experience.

“You can get hair care services in a lot of different places but not many places make you Number 1 from the moment you make your appointment,” said Brawn. “A trip here is fantastic enough, many clients visit between appointments to say ‘hi.’”

Oasis sets itself apart from the rest with its attention to detail.

“We only use high-quality products – Redken shampoos, conditioners and styling products, Pravana color and Uforya body products (developed right here in the salon) – for the perfect manicure and pedicure,” said Brawn, and it doesn’t stop there.

Brawn said she and her staff are always looking for what’s new, different and exciting.

“Hair extensions are available, either in natural colors for extra length or thickness, or fun party colors for a little splash of color without ruining your own hair,” said Brawn.

Have a special occasion? How about some sparkly highlights with Bling Strands? Brawn also offers the latest in fashion hair accessories.

“Or the latest trend – the new Feather extensions,” said Brawn.

The salon continues to look for ways to expand service, bringing the newest trends and techniques to their customers.

“Next on our list of services to offer: sunless tanning. This should be available in the next few months,” explained Brawn.

“We can’t wait to meet our next clients,” said Brawn.

“Are you a stylist looking for a better place to work? We’d love to hear from you,” said Brawn.

Open six days a week and four evenings, there’s sure to be a time that’s convenient for all.

“Call 540-1480, e-mail oasissalonme@gmail.com or online www.salonoasis.biz. You can also find us on Facebook for all the latest updates,” said Brawn. “And when you’re ready, try out our online appointment booking feature, available from both our web page and our Facebook page.”
