Portage Hills to open Saturday, May 12
PORTAGE LAKE — Portage Hills will open for the season on Saturday, May 12, weather permitting.
For the time being, the course will open daily for paid members and the clubhouse will be open Friday afternoons and on weekends.
To attract new members the club is offering a first time rate of $200. This is only for new members. Also Portage Hills has reciprocal deals with other golf courses in the region. Members of Fort Kent, Limestone, Caribou and Presque Isle can play 18 holes for the nine-hole price.
Portage Hills also has open golf every weekend except for July 28, which is the only weekend tournament at the club this summer.
