Sending wrong message
To the editor:
I hear our city council members had dinner and a meeting at a local restaurant to discuss cuts to the police and fire departments.
What was wrong with meeting in their own council chambers and bringing their own dinner? Maybe they paid out of their own pocket, but one wonders.
