HISTORICAL TOUR
Presque Isle Girl Scout Troop 1137 recently participated in a historic home tour at the Estey House, located on Third Street in Presque Isle.

The tour was organized by troop leaders Dina Harding and Roxanne Poole and was led by Kimberly Smith, Presque Isle Historic Society’s secretary/treasurer and special programs and events coordinator. Also providing assistance with guiding the tour were historical society members Judy Hilton and Hank King. The comprehensive tour included a background biography on Vera Estey, along with detailed information and stories about many of her personal belongings, which are now historical artifacts that are still present in the home today. Girl Scout Troop 1137 members in attendance were, in front from left, Erinn Kelly, Natalie Renaud, Lily Hanks, Laurel Brown and Sophia Morton.
