Dennis Anderson of New Sweden, Maine is nothing short of a small-town hero. After experiencing the recent freezing rain that transformed most driveways into slippery ice rinks, Dennis and a friend traveled around New Sweden, sanding several community members’ driveways. He did not ask for anything in return, for he was solely satisfied with knowing he was capable of helping those in need.
New Sweden should be proud to have such a good-hearted citizen in town. How many of us can say we know someone who is willing to do a good deed for the simple sake of helping a neighbor? We are truly grateful.
