Zombie events at UMPI

     The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Studio 923 UMPI Art Club will be hosting two events on Friday, Oct. 24. The first event is the second annual Aroostook Dead: A Zombie Walk, which will start at 3 p.m. at Riverside Park. This free family friendly event is open to all ages. Come dressed up as a zombie; trophies will awarded in various categories. Zombie makeup available for donations. 
    The second event is also hosted by The Aroostook Partners in the Arts and is a midnight showing at the Braden Theater of “Night of the Living Dead.” The cost is $10 and includes the movie ticket, drink and a bag of popcorn. Come in costume for a chance to win movie tickets.
