Pop A Top seeks redemption(s) in the New Year

New redemption center a welcome addition
to Fort Fairfield’s business community

FORT FAIRFIELD — With the holiday season upon us, many people will be hosting events to celebrate with loved ones and to ring in the New Year. The owners of Pop A Top Redemption Center hope revelers will keep them in mind when it is time to gather together bottles and cans and return them for cold, hard cash.

On Tuesday, Jan. 6, Christine and Ryan Fox opened the doors of their new full-service redemption center at the top of the hill at 110 Presque Isle Street in Fort Fairfield.
“We  are looking forward to providing a clean, friendly environment for the folks in our community to return their recyclables and redeem their deposits,” said Christine.
Pop A Top Redemption Center is also available to partner with the many non-profit, school and community groups to hold bottle drives.
To celebrate their grand opening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Jan. 6 at Pop A Top. The event was sponsored by the Fort Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. Everyone was invited to come check out the full range of services offered and enjoy light refreshments.
    Hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
