CARIBOU, Maine — Pageant season is here, and the 2016 Little Miss Caribou competition is set to take place at the Caribou Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 3, 2016.
The pageant, directed by Cheryl Bossie, will feature five contestants and entertainment from 2015 Little Miss Caribou winner Libby Collier as well as 2015 Miss Caribou winner Kelsie Kiehn.
Contestants include 8-year-old Gwen Anderson, daughter of Alexander and Connie Anderson, who will be performing “Beauty and the Beast”; 8-year-old Kadence McDougall, daughter of Shane and Vanessa McDougall, will be performing “My Heart Will Go On”; 7-year-old Abigail Barker, daughter of Tony and Cindy Barker, will perform a “Night is Young” dance routine; 6-year-old Addison Gove, daughter of Scott and Ann Gove, will perform “It’s What’s Inside that Counts”; and 6-year-old Elizabeth Robbins, daughter of Tim and Bobbi-Jo Robbins, will perform a “Let it Go” dance routine.
The event, which is sponsored by the Lister-Knowlton VFW Auxiliary, will charge $7 for admission. Ticket sale proceeds will go to the Jefferson Cary Cancer Center.
