Justice Andrew Mead, associate justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, hosted the 2018 Katahdin Counsel Award Ceremony this fall at the Penobscot Judicial Center in Bangor.
Attorney Norman Trask of Easton was one of three Aroostook County attorneys recognized. The Supreme Judicial Court gives the Katahdin Counsel Award to attorneys statewide who perform 50 or more hours of pro bono legal services for those who cannot afford legal counsel, including the elderly, disabled and veterans.
This is the fourth consecutive year Trask has received the award.
