CARIBOU, Maine — A man found unconscious at Tim Hortons in Caribou Tuesday likely died of a drug overdose, according to Caribou Police.
Police and Caribou Fire & Ambulance were at the restaurant Tuesday morning after a man in his mid-30s was found unresponsive in a restroom.
Paramedics performed CPR and administered Narcan, an overdose reversal drug, while attempting to save the man’s life, according to Police Chief Michael Gahagan.
The man, whom police have not yet identified, was pronounced dead shortly after 9:30 a.m.
Caribou Police are still investigating the incident while the state medical examiner determines the cause of death. Foul play is not suspected at this time, Gahagan said.
