Here I am again after a few weeks’ absence. At my age, it is about every other week for a ‘’hello.’’ Christy Hutchinson had a birthday. ‘’Happy Birthday,’’ Christy, even though I’m late.
We had a postcard from Peggy Robinson on vacation in another state. I think she is visiting her sister and will be home soon. We miss you, Peggy. Saw a lady the other day I haven’t seen in a long time. She still looks great and is so fashionable. Don’t you love to see somebody after a long while? I certainly do.
The latest word is that Norma Bates and Florence McDonald are room-mates at Madigan. Isn’t that a plus for both, such sweet people. Lots of notices on the bulletin board. If you are in the building you should check it out.
We are on a schedule now for Bingo, just for the tenants. We have fun, even though it is a small attendance. Come and enjoy. We are having our annual rummage sale at St. Mary of the Visitation Church. For details, look to the Pioneer Times for more information.
Fall foliage is not here yet but is in the offing. For some, it is their favorite time of year. Steven Adams was an August visitor of his mother, Mrs. Jean Adams at Lee Apartments. For my angel quote, here it is: There are angels all around us, hidden barely out of sight. You may catch a warm halo glow or the rustle of a wing in flight. There are angels all around us, though we rarely get to see that there are angels all around us, watching over you and me.
See you in a week or two, I hope.
